River Rat Lures is a small company founded by Ottawa River muskie guide, Ed Lalonde (Right). Over the last 25 years or so, Ed has caught and released countless trophy fish and developed a keen sense of what makes a great spinnerbait. His tying skills are second to none.
Sam Hill (Left) is a name becoming well known among muskie hunters. Sam's record includes one of, if not the biggest muskie caught in North America in 2003. A monster 58.5" x 28.5" with an unofficial weight of 58lbs that has been seen in numerous publications such as Musky Hunter, Esox Angler, as well as all the muskie fishing websites. (Seen here holding a 55" Ottawa River muskie, Fall '03)
Finally, Chris Purdy rounds out the group. He's known for his limited computer skills and his ability to net the big ones for his fishing partners ... and "No" that's not a lure he's holding ;-)
